In 2010 Nike will release a redesigned version of the popular Nike Dunks

In 2010 Nike will release a redesigned version of the popular Nike Dunks just for the Men. The new Dunks for the ladies will be known as the Nike Skinny Dunk and were designed by a group of female designers at Nike. The look of the Nike Dunks is the same as the good ol’ Dunks but the fit of the sneakers are said to be better for the smaller female feet. Nike will release a ton of different designs when it comes to the Nike Dunks including the 2 pairs shown above which have uppers designed with an all over cherry print inspired by the work of Paule Marrot. What for these to hit retailers around the summer of 2010.However, now that the release is nearing further details about the design and theme have surfaced and we’re now learning the whole chirping bird idea has been squashed.

If you’re planning on trying to get yourself a pair of these hit up your local Nike Dunks retailer to see if they’ll be available in your area come this Saturday. This is a Quickstrike for the month of March, so not every Nike SB distributor will be getting them.Now wouldnt you love to be one of the lucky 100 guests to get your hands on these? Nike has put together Nike Dunk High Premium Marge Simpson which will be given away at the MTV Music Awards in Munich. Only 100 selected guests will be the lucky few to get their hands on these, which you know are sure to become a collectors item based on the availability.The Nike Dunks are made of patent leather, in a black, red and gold colorway. They include the use of 3M ScotchliteTM, have a checkered midsole and of course use Zoom cushioning. Along with the sneakers the special guests will also recieve a “Be True To Your School” Nike shirt, a suitcase and a special Nike Dunk hoodie.

Watch for packages of these to hit ebay after the Nike Dunk Mid as im sure some will be looking to make a profit from them. They were mixed in with an assortment of models which were said to be part of Nike’s summer 2010 Collection and since then the photos have made their away around the web with nicknames such as TNT, Kaboom and simply just Boom.No official release date has been posted at this time but it’s reported that the Nike Dunk Mid will be a quickstrike release which will hit select Nike Dunk retailers within the coming months.
